Yobuko Morning Market
A morning market said to have been held since the Taisho era, one of Japan's three great morning markets with Wajima in Ishikawa and Takayama in Gifu. It is held every day from 7:30 to 12:00 on Asaichi-dori, east of Yobuko Port, where stalls along about 200 m sell fresh seafood, processed goods, vegetables and flowers; the lively calls of the stallholders and bargaining are part of the fun.
