How we earn
- Some articles and spot pages include affiliate (advertising) links to booking and activity sites. Our only partner at the moment is Klook.
- Affiliate links are shown in a separate box marked "Ad" or "Affiliate link" ("広告" on Japanese pages), apart from the text.
- Articles that contain affiliate links say so at the top of the article.
- If you book through these links, we may earn a commission. The price you pay does not change.
What commissions do not change
- Facts such as prices, opening hours and access are checked against official sources, not partner sites.
- Commissions do not affect what we publish, how we describe a place, or the order of any list.
- We count clicks on affiliate links only as totals per page, box and language. We do not record who clicked.
