Unzen Onsen
A hot spring village in the heart of Unzen's rich nature, where the mountains show azaleas in spring, green in summer, autumn leaves and rime ice in winter; the view from Nita Pass from Mt. Myoken to Mt. No is especially fine. In its three zones - Koyu, Shinyu and Kojigoku - everything from hotels to public baths lines the streets.
