Uminonakamichi Sandbar
A long, narrow sandbar stretching from Nata Beach to Shikanoshima, only 500 m wide at its narrowest and 2 km at its widest; the dunes on the open-sea side change daily with the wind. It is chosen as one of Japan's 100 best beaches, and the area has Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, with flowers in every season.
