Michi-no-Eki Tatara Shimanami Park
A roadside station at the foot of the Tatara Bridge, one of the world's largest cable-stayed bridges, a fine viewpoint for looking up at the bridge with the Seto Inland Sea before you. The speciality centre sells island products and processed seafood, and the restaurant serves dishes made with fresh local ingredients such as Omishima flatfish. Nearby are bicycle rentals, a campsite and a hot spring, making it a base for sightseeing on Omishima.
