Kosan-ji Temple and Museum
A temple built by the businessman Kosanji Kozo as a memorial temple for his mother, whose halls are modelled on various National Treasure buildings; 15 of them are registered tangible cultural properties. The whole precinct is a museum showing Buddhist, tea-ceremony and modern art, and the marble garden "Miraishin no Oka", made over 12 years by the sculptor Kazuto Kuetani with marble all brought from Italy, covers 5,000 square metres.
