Onomichi, Hiroshima / 白滝山
Mt. Shirataki, Innoshima
A 226.9 m peak and Innoshima's best-known viewpoint. The "500 Rakan" stone statues (actually about 700) along the approach and near the summit were made over three years from 1830 by Kashiwara Denroku, founder of Ikkankyo, and his disciples. Cherry blossoms in spring, autumn leaves and sunsets over the golden Seto Inland Sea are highlights.
