A stone-paved lane about 2 km long, taking about three hours on foot, from Jiko-ji near JR Onomichi Station east to Kairyu-ji, passing the main temples and shrines of old Onomichi and scenic spots that have appeared in films and TV. Stone posts along the way point to the next stop, so you can stroll without a map.
