Jodo-ji Temple
Said to have been founded by Prince Shotoku in 616; the main hall and the tahoto pagoda are National Treasures and the whole precinct is a nationally designated cultural property, so it is also called "the temple of National Treasures". Ashikaga Takauji prayed here for victory, and the teahouse "Rotekian", said to have been moved from Fushimi Castle, is an Important Cultural Property.
