Senkoji Park
A park selected among Japan's 100 best cherry-blossom spots, with azaleas and wisteria through the seasons. The summit observatory was renovated in 2022, and below you can see the Onomichi Channel townscape (Japan Heritage) and the islands of the Shimanami Kaido, and on clear days the Shikoku mountains; the night view from the summit is one of Japan's 100 best night views. The path from the summit to Senko-ji is the "Literature Path", with poems carved in natural stones.
