Nunobiki Falls
Falls on the middle reaches of the Ikuta River, about 15 minutes' walk along a hiking trail from Shin-Kobe Station. Counted among Japan's three great sacred falls and chosen as one of Japan's 100 best waterfalls, Nunobiki is the collective name for four falls (Ontaki, Mentaki, Meotodaki and Tsutsumigadaki); Ontaki falls from a height of 43 m. It appears in the classic "Tales of Ise".
