Ikuta Shrine
A shrine with about 1,800 years of history in Sannomiya, the heart of Kobe, said to be the origin of the name "Kobe". Its main deity is Wakahirume-no-mikoto. The grounds include the Ikuta Forest, known as a battlefield of the Genpei War, and a row of vermilion torii gates at the Inari shrine.
