Meriken Park
Kobe's signature waterfront, made by combining the old Meriken Wharf with reclaimed land. It has the Port of Kobe Earthquake Memorial Park, which conveys the damage of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and the Kobe Maritime Museum shaped like a white sailing ship; the "BE KOBE" monument is a popular photo spot and is lit up at night.
