Mt. Nokogiri Ropeway
Mt. Nokogiri in Minami-Boso Quasi-National Park was a source of fine "Boshu stone" from the Muromachi period; quarrying ended in 1982, and the vertical quarry walls, together with "Jigoku Nozoki" in Nihonji Temple, are now scenic spots. The ropeway goes up to the summit station observatory, with a 360-degree view; on clear days you can see Tokyo Skytree across Futtsu Cape. The view of Mt. Fuji from Mt. Nokogiri is one of the "100 Views of Mt. Fuji from Kanto".
