Nagasaki Penguin Aquarium
An aquarium keeping about 180 penguins of 9 of the world's 18 species, over 70% of them born here - rare in the world as a penguin-focused aquarium. In the large "Subantarctic Penguin Pool" penguins "fly" underwater, and at the "Fureai Penguin Beach" you can watch them swim in the natural sea, with feeding and touching events. Free pushchairs and wheelchairs are lent at the entrance, and the building is barrier-free.
