Cape Irago
A cape at the tip of the Atsumi Peninsula looking over the Pacific Ocean, Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay. The white lighthouse at its tip is the symbol of the cape; from here you can see Kamishima, the setting of Mishima Yukio's novel "The Sound of Waves". A promenade leads from the lighthouse, and the lighthouse is one of "Japan's 50 Lighthouses".
