Otaki, Chiba / 養老渓谷
Yoro Valley
A valley formed by the Yoro River, running from Awamata in Otaki to Asoubara in Ichihara, near the centre of the Boso Peninsula, where rich nature, scattered waterfalls and the largest hot spring area in Boso remain. Fresh green is beautiful from spring to summer, and "Awamata Falls" in autumn leaves is the finest view in the valley. Hiking courses and riverside paths follow the valley, and there are day-trip hot springs.
