Yakumotatsu Fudoki-no-Oka Museum
A museum for learning about Ou, the centre of ancient Izumo's nation-building, in the heart of the district linked to the "Kunibiki" myth of the Nara-period Izumo-no-Kuni Fudoki. It shows haniwa, mirrors and swords that are national Important Cultural Properties and finds from the area; nearby are the Fudoki botanical garden and reconstructed ancient dwellings.
