Izumo Kokubunji Temple Ruins
The site of the provincial temple built in the Nara period by order of Emperor Shomu. Foundation stones are laid out so the layout of the main hall, lecture hall and monks' quarters can be seen at a glance. Tiles, Sue ware and other finds are shown at the Yakumotatsu Fudoki-no-Oka museum.
