Utsubuki Park
A park at the foot of Mt. Utsubuki (204 m), symbol of Kurayoshi, opened in 1904 to commemorate the visit to San'in of the Crown Prince, later Emperor Taisho. One of Japan's "100 best cherry blossom spots" and the finest in San'in, it blooms with many kinds of cherry and azaleas in spring, with green in summer, autumn leaves and camellias in winter; it is also one of Japan's "100 best urban parks".
