Misasa Onsen
A hot spring whose radium content is among the highest in the world for radon. Many inns have distinctive baths, and the "Kawara Rotenburo" open-air bath in the riverbed below Misasa Bridge lets you bathe to the sound of the river. Inns line the Mitoku River, with the Kajika Bridge downstream and the Koidani Bridge upstream, and in summer you hear kajika frogs. Mitokusan's National Treasure Nageiredo is nearby.
