Uozu Mirage Viewing Point
Uozu, also called "the town of mirages", has been known for mirages since before the Edo period. The best place to see them is the coast around Uozu Port overlooking the whole of Toyama Bay, which the city has designated the "Mirage Viewing Point" place of scenic beauty. From late March to early June, when mirages are easier to see, many people come to the port area and Shinkiro Road.
