Uozu Buried Forest Museum
A museum where you meet two wonders of Toyama Bay, the "buried forest", a Special Natural Monument, and mirages. Tree roots of the buried forest, about 2 m across and over 500 years old, are kept in water, and you can touch a giant root. Mirages are shown on a 300-inch screen with many documents, and from the observation deck mirages can sometimes be seen over the bay.
