Nanbu, Tottori / とっとり花回廊
Tottori Hanakairo Flower Park
The largest flower park in western Japan, where a large greenhouse and exhibition halls let you enjoy flowers whatever the weather or season. A 1 km covered observation corridor surrounds the park, so you can walk around without an umbrella even on rainy days. Lilies are the main flower all year; it is the only place in Japan that holds and shows all 15 wild lily species native to Japan. At night the "Moonlight Flower Garden" by lighting designer Motoko Ishii lights the 8,000 m2 garden with 14,000 lights.
