Shoji Ueda Museum of Photography
A museum of the work of photographer Shoji Ueda, renowned in Japan and worldwide. Works in the "UEDA-Cho" style, with novel composition and staging, are chosen by theme from 12,000 pieces he donated. The building, designed by architect Shin Takamatsu, won a Minister of Education Award, and from inside Mt. Daisen appears upside down reflected on the water, the "inverted Daisen".
