Tomita Satoniwa Koen
The Tomita Urban Agriculture Exchange Centre in the east of Wakaba Ward, Chiba City. In spring nemophila spread across the grounds, and hydrangeas and, in autumn, cosmos colour the site through the seasons. Blueberry picking is offered from June to August, and fresh vegetables and eggs are sold directly.

By car: from Takada IC (Chiba-Togane Road) take Route 126 towards Chiba, at the Miyata junction head towards Yotsukaido, turn right at the T-junction 200 m past the Izumi fire station branch, turn right at the Tomita-iriguchi junction and after about 900 m turn left. From Chishirodai Station (Chiba Urban Monorail): Omago bus to Tomitacho Haradaike, then about 1 minute on foot; Omago bus to Tomita Shinden, then about 10 minutes on foot; or Sarashina bus to Tomitacho 1, then about 13 minutes on foot. Buses are infrequent, so a car is recommended.
