Nagara Dam
Known as one of the best cherry-blossom spots in the prefecture, Nagara Dam is an earth dam built by piling up soil rather than concrete, completed in 1985. It is 52 m high and 250 m long, and stores and regulates water brought from the Tone River. Around the lake, named "Shizuko", there is a walking path of about 4.4 km and three play areas, and about 3,200 cherry trees; at their best the "Nagara Sakura Marche" is held and the lit-up blossoms are reflected on the water at night. In autumn you can walk while viewing the coloured hills.

By car about 15 minutes from Mobara-Chonan IC and about 8 minutes from Mobara-Nagara Smart IC (Ken-O Expressway), about 20 minutes from Soga IC (Keiyo Road); from JR Mobara Station, Kominato Railway bus bound for Longwood Station, about 30 minutes to the terminus.
