Ureshino, Saga / 轟の滝・轟の滝公園
Todoroki Falls Park
A three-tiered waterfall 11 m high on the upper Shiota River, about 1 km from Ureshino Onsen towards Nagasaki, named because the sound of falling water is like thunder; the basin covers about 2,500 m². The surrounding park is ideal for a walk after bathing, the Takimi Bridge downstream is the best viewpoint, where cherry blossoms bloom in spring. In 2023 "Ureshino Outdoor Field", with an outdoor sauna and day camping facing the falls, opened in the park.
