Seki-juku (Tokaido Post Town)
The 47th of the 53 stations of the Tokaido, a post town that still keeps its old atmosphere. More than 200 townhouses built from the late Edo to the Meiji period survive, and it is a national preservation district for groups of traditional buildings (selected 1984) and one of Japan's 100 best roads (1986).
