Sanshu Asuke Yashiki
A living folk museum recreating the life of a mountain farming household by actually using folk tools, under the policy "make what you need for life yourself". You can try vanishing Japanese handcrafts such as weaving, indigo dyeing, straw work and blacksmithing. There is a restaurant serving gohei-mochi, grilled sweetfish, soba and udon, and a cafe with charcoal-roasted coffee.
