The Railway Museum
Opened in Omiya, Saitama city, on October 14, 2007 as the main project marking the 20th anniversary of JR East. In July 2018 the South Wing opened and the main building's permanent exhibits were fully renewed; the museum is now divided into five "stations" (vehicles, history, work, science and the future), telling the stories of people and railways from many angles.
