JR Nishi-Oyama Station
Known as the southernmost station of JR in Japan, Nishi-Oyama Station is proud of its superb view of Mt. Kaimon straight ahead. The post box in front is the yellow of rape blossoms, Ibusuki's representative flower, and you can post a picture postcard or ring the "bell". The next-door "Kaimon Ichiba Kyutaro" sells postcards, issues "JR southernmost station arrival certificates" and rents electric-assist bicycles.
