Adults 620 yen, high school 460 yen, elementary and junior high 260 yen (groups of 10+: 550 / 410 / 230). Free for Aomori City school children (proof needed). Free for holders of a disability certificate plus one companion (show the original certificate).

Getting there

1 min on foot from JR Aomori Station. About 40 min by bus from Aomori Airport, 20 min by bus from the ferry terminal, 15 min by car from Aomori-Chuo IC.

Parking

Paid: 80 cars, 3 accessible spaces (buses by reservation only). Cars 220 yen for the first hour, then 110 yen per 30 min; overnight (22:30-8:30) 650 yen. Entry 8:30-22:00; exit 24 hours (cars). Museum visitors get 1 hour free (show the stamped ticket and parking ticket at the 1st-floor information desk). The pay machine takes no notes other than 1,000-yen notes.

Accessibility

Elevators and ramps make the museum accessible by wheelchair and stroller; both can be borrowed at the 1st-floor information desk. Mobility scooters are allowed if they go no faster than 6 km/h.
