Varies by exhibition. Collection exhibition: adults 700 yen (groups of 20+: 560), university students 400 yen (320); free for 18 and under and high school students (collect a free ticket at the counter; not needed for preschool children). May change with the exhibition.

Getting there

From JR Aomori Station, about 20 min by car, or city bus from stop 6 bound for Sannai-Maruyama to "Kenritsu Bijutsukan-mae" (about 20 min). From JR Shin-Aomori Station, about 10 min by car or the "Nebutan-go" route bus (about 10 min). About 20 min by car from Aomori Airport; 5 min from Aomori IC, 10 min from Aomori-Chuo IC.

Accessibility

Wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs can be borrowed at the 1st-floor desk (call on arrival and staff will bring one to the accessible parking; with advance notice they can have one ready at the entrance). Accessible toilets, nursing room and stroller loan on the 1st floor. The outdoor path to "Aomori-ken" has two flights of stairs and takes 10-15 min there and back; if walking is difficult, ask staff (in good weather they may guide you through a gallery door).
