Nagasaki Ropeway
From its all-glass gondolas you can see Nagasaki's townscape in a 360-degree panorama; it is also famous as a viewing spot for the night view recertified in 2021 as one of the "New Three Great Night Views of the World". It links Fuchi Jinja Station at the foot of Mt. Inasa to the 333 m summit in about 5 minutes, and on clear days you can see as far as Unzen, Amakusa and the Goto Islands. The gondolas, renewed in 2011, were designed by KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN, led by industrial designer Ken Okuyama, and are nicknamed "Hoshi no Shizuku" and "Tsuki no Shizuku".

Bus (no. 3 or 4) about 6 minutes from Nagasaki-ekimae to Ropeway-mae, about 3 minutes on foot to Fuchi Jinja Station, then about 5 minutes to the summit; a free loop bus runs between central hotels and Fuchi Jinja Station (book on the official website from 12:00 on the day until 30 minutes before each departure).
