Myoo-in Temple
A temple said to have been founded by Kobo Daishi in 807 (Daido 2). Its main hall, in a style combining Japanese and Chinese elements, is the oldest surviving building of its kind, and its five-storey pagoda is the fifth oldest among Japan's National Treasure pagodas; both are National Treasures.
