Kyushu National Museum
Japan's fourth national museum, newly built 108 years after the Tokyo, Nara and Kyoto National Museums. Under the concept of seeing how Japanese culture was formed from the viewpoint of Asian history, it shows Japanese culture from the Paleolithic to the late Tokugawa period; the Cultural Exchange Exhibition on the 4th floor always shows 800-900 items, and "Ajippa" on the 1st floor is a free hands-on room with traditional clothes, everyday goods, toys and music of Asian countries.
