Former Horikiri Residence
The old house of a wealthy farming and merchant family dating back to the Edo period, historically valuable for the "Jikkengura", the oldest earthen storehouse in the prefecture. An information office for Iizaka in the annex can be used as a rest stop, with free loan of towels and geta sandals, and there are foot and hand baths.

No parking on site; use the free Paruse Iizaka / Sabakoyu shared car park (500 m away). The former Iizaka branch office car park and the Wakabacho car park are also listed, and there are other paid car parks nearby. One wheelchair space to the right of the main gate.
