Fukushima Prefectural Museum of Art
Opened in July 1984 at the foot of Mt. Shinobu, on grounds of over 60,000 square metres shared with the prefectural library. It holds more than 3,800 works of painting, printmaking, sculpture and crafts, including 20th-century American figurative painting such as Andrew Wyeth and a collection of the printmaker Kiyoshi Saito from Aizubange, with special exhibitions held as well as the permanent display.
