Kashima Island (Matsuyama)
A small island about 1.5 km around, called "the Enoshima of Iyo", where real deer greet you when you step off the ferry with its deer figure. The island has a beach, a campsite and Kashima Shrine associated with the Kono navy; paths run along the shore and up to the summit observatory, which looks over the Hiuchi Sea. Offshore to the west, the Tamari and Kando islets are called "the Futami of Iyo", and a sightseeing boat circles the island.
