Matsuyama Ropeway Shopping Street
A shopping street right at the foot of Matsuyama Castle, leading to the ropeway, with stylish shops in a calm townscape built on the concept of "nagomi" (harmony). There are many shops for Ehime food and souvenirs, such as Uwajima's "tai-meshi" (sea bream rice) and Imabari Towel, and the tap that pours out mandarin juice is well received by visitors. It is one of the few barrier-free shopping streets in Japan.
