Inuyama Castle Town
The castle town stretching south from National Treasure Inuyama Castle. Inuyama escaped war damage, so both the castle and the town keep the "sogamae" layout of a fortified town; old townhouses line the streets, now home to cafes and shops selling crafts. The town is known for skewered snacks such as handmade gohei-mochi and dango. In spring the Inuyama Festival of Haritsuna Shrine parades 13 floats through the town.
