Glover Garden
One of Nagasaki's most popular sights, on the Minamiyamate hill overlooking a great panorama of Nagasaki Port. Centred on the former Glover, Ringer and Alt Houses, national Important Cultural Properties, six Meiji-era Western-style houses that stood around the city have been moved here and restored, with stone paving and steps from the foreign-settlement days. The houses are lit up from mid-July to early October, and moving walkways and escalators are provided on the hilly site.
