Ise, Mie / 二見浦
Futamiura Beach
The delta where the Isuzu River flows into Ise Bay, famous for the Meoto Iwa. The coast west of the river mouth, known since ancient times as the "seven villages of Futami", has supplied sacred salt to the Jingu. Known as a scenic spot of Ise since the Heian period and sung in many poems, it is also famous as a swimming beach.
