Tokushima, Tokushima / あわぎん眉山ロープウェイ

Awagin Bizan Ropeway

A ropeway of about 6 minutes up Mt. Bizan, the symbol of Tokushima City sung of in the Man'yoshu. From the 290 m summit you can see the city and, on clear days, Awaji Island and the Kii Peninsula. The gondolas were renewed in spring 2025 for the first time in 25 years.
