Awaji Hanasajiki
A prefectural nature park on a plateau in northern Awaji sloping gently towards the sea, covering an area about the size of three Tokyo Domes with a "carpet of flowers": rape blossoms and poppies in spring, sunflowers in summer, cosmos in autumn and stock in winter, with the Akashi Strait and Osaka Bay beyond. Entry is free.
