Akashi Kaikyo Bridge

One of the world's largest suspension bridges, 3,911 m long, linking Kobe with Awaji Island, lit up at night. On the Kobe side, the Maiko Marine Promenade is a walkway about 47 m above the sea running out about 150 m from land, with glass floors looking down on the water; the Bridge World tour takes you up the tower, about 300 m above the sea.
