Yasugi, Shimane / 足立美術館
Adachi Museum of Art
A museum founded in 1970 by Adachi Zenko, whose basic policy since opening has been "a fine garden and the Yokoyama Taikan collection": the harmony of Japanese gardens and Japanese painting. The idea is that visitors feel the beauty of the seasons through the Japanese garden, then meet the works of Yokoyama Taikan with that emotion. One admission covers the Japanese garden and the exhibitions in the main building, the Rosanjin building and the new building.
