Kobe, Hyogo / 瑞宝寺公園
Zuihoji Park
A park on the site of the Obaku-sect Zuihoji temple, abandoned in the early Meiji era, known as the "Higurashi Garden" and a famous spot for autumn leaves. It has a stone go board said to have been used by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a monument to the Hyakunin Isshu poems and the old temple gate said to have been moved from Fushimi Castle; every November an outdoor tea ceremony of the "Arima Grand Tea Party" is held in memory of Hideyoshi.
