Yamaga Onsen
Yamaga, on the border with Fukuoka, has hot springs across the area - Yamaga, Hirayama, Kamoto and Kikuka - the oldest said to have 1,300 years of history. Most are alkaline, with soft, lukewarm water; in Yamaga Onsen, with the air of the Buzen Kaido road, is "Sakura-yu", recreating Edo-period architecture.
